I turned 40 this year.
It’s one of those moments that make you stop and look back. Almost 18 years in this industry now — building products, working with different startups, some small, some bigger, all of them teaching me something. It’s been a good ride, honestly.
But somewhere in all this, I stopped doing something I really loved — writing.
Back in my 20s, I used to write a lot, and not just for myself. I had a real audience back then. I was one of the top bloggers in my niche, good traffic, good SEO, the whole thing. I knew how to write stuff that ranked and that people actually came back to read. Then life got busy — startups, products, more startups — and writing just slowly stopped. Not because I didn’t want to, just… it happened.
So this blog is me trying to start that again. This time I want to be consistent and post regularly, not just write once and disappear for a year (which is basically what happened last time).
What I’ll be writing about:
Tech and AI — real experience from working with these tools daily, what’s actually useful and what’s just noise.
Growth — things I learned from working in startups, what worked, what didn’t, patterns I keep seeing again and again.
My opinions — sometimes people may not agree, but after 18 years I have some strong views on tech, careers, hiring, leadership, and I want to share them honestly.
Travel — this is new for me on this blog, but I enjoy traveling a lot these days. How it changes your perspective, work-travel balance, and just sharing experiences from places I visit.
If you’ve been in tech for a while, maybe some of this will feel familiar to you. If you’re early in your career, maybe something here helps you avoid a mistake or two. Either way, thanks for reading, and I’ll try to keep showing up here regularly this time.
